NF77NW 1 7483 7589.
(NF 7483 7589) Remians of a circular building on the smaller island in Loch an Eilein, named Eilean a 'Ghallain. A paved entrance was found on the east side opposite the causeway and the interior seems to have contained several minor erections. A submerged causeway, 40 yards long, connects the dun with the eastern side of the loch.
Finds included a few fragments of pottery and bones, one or two hammer-stones, some rounded quartz pebbles and a broken whetstone.
