Full Description

NF77NW 7 7282 7535.

A knoll, which evidently contains an underground chamber of some description, called Cnoc an Litich, lies immediately behind Scolpaig House. Probably an earth-house although definite proof is not available without excavation.
E Beveridge 1911.

The natural knoll known as Cnoc an Litick was pointed out at NF 7282 7535 by a local informant.
There is no trace of an underground chamber on the knoll but the existence of an earth-house is still rumoured locally.
Visited by OS (J T T) 19 June 1965.
