Full Description

NF77SW 20 7220 7324.

There is a spread of midden material, probably of no great age, in an eroded sand-dune at NF 7220 7324. Many small pins have been found here during the last few years by Mr Robertson and others.
Three of the pins, about 1" long, of either bronze or brass with spiral wire heads, are in the possession of the Field investigator.
Visited by OS (J T T) 16 June 1965.

These pins are quite common. They range in date from late-mediaeval to the 18th century introduction of steel pins.
Information from R B K Stevenson (NMAS) to OS, 13 October 1965.
