OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)

Anislet near the middle of Loch Druim an Iasgair, is occupied by a dun, which, in 1915, was in better condition than the usual Hebridean fort. The dun is an irregular oval, 54 1/2ft east-west and 36ft across internally, within a drystone wall 5ft wide at the base, and, in places, 6ft high. Entrances are in the north and south sides. The ruins of stone buildings, apparently circular and oval, are in the western part. No causeway is to be seen.
RCAHMS 1928.

The remains of a dun as described above.
Surveyed at 1/10560.
Visited by OS (R D) 11 May 1965.
