29 August 1986. A bottom feature, possibly a wreck, standing 10 metres high, was located at 56 57 18N,008 05 24W. The least depth by echosounder was 124 metres in a general water depth of 134 metres.
Report by HMS HECTATE, 12 July 1986.

Note: The site was not examined as the locating vessel was on passage. The predicted tidal reduction is 3.4 metres, giving least depth of 120.6 metres.The site has the appearance of a rock pinnacle on echosounder trace - Wrecks Officer.
