14 November 1977. A wreck, possibly from Word War II, was located on 7 August 1977 at 57 31 31.8N, 008 38 55.8W (from Decca). The least depth by echosounder was 154 metres in a general depth of 160 metres. The side scan sonar trace showed a height of 7metres. The length was 220 feet (67 metres), width or beam 30 feet (9.7 metres). The wreck is upright, with its keel lying on an orientation of 100/280 degrees, on smooth mud and sand bottom.
