14 August 1986. A wreck was discovered, least depth 80 metres, at 59 10 15N, 005 52 22W.

30 January 1987. The site was examined on 25 July 1986 at 59 10 27N, 005 52 24W (from Decca). The least depth by echosounder was 80 metres in a general depth of 93metres. The side scan sonar trace gave the height to be 10 metres. No scouring was observed. The keel of the vessel lies on an orientation of 345/165 degrees. The wreck is apparently upright. Report by HMS HECLA.

Note: from the side scan sonar trace the length of the vessel is about 80 metres (262 feet).
