The British steam trawler HONORIA was captured by German submarine and sunk by gunfire on the 23 July 1915.

The vessel's sinking position is given as 35 miles NNW of Cape Wrath. Source; World War I Shipping Loses.

22 February 1980. A non dangerous wreck is shown in the approximate position 59 30 00N, 005 41 00W.
Report by US P/O dated 16 October 1976.

Note: a vessel with the same name, registered 179 gross tonnes, was sunk on 25 July 1915.
