Full Description

NF86SE 9 869 614.

'In boggy moorland at base of a cliff on S side of Cnoc na File are the extensive rubble remains of a long cairn about 25m long ending in a steep grassy slope to E which may be part of the original structure.
Its long axis is oriented at about 115 degrees with respect to true N. Several relatively modern shielings and a cairn have been built on and beside it. There is no evidence of original chambers but, with surrounding deep peat bog disguising height of structure, original internal features may yet be undisturbed'.
