Full Description

NF86NW 37 8485 6383.

(NF 8487 6383) There are the remains of a building, c. 13ft in diameter over its walls, on the islet of Steisay, 3/4 mile W of Dun Brenish. The island is connected by a massive causeway to a small annexe - 'Trefick Island' (Admiralty Chart).

NF 8485 6383 Only the outline of a smallshieling was seen on the island. The causeway is natural.
