The vessel sank 2 miles ESE from Ushinish Lighthouse, South Uist. Source; Dictionary of Disasters at Sea.

22 March 1919. The vessel sank off Ushinish Point.
Report by Western Appraches, Stornoway.

26 February 1971. A type 164 sonar search was made to cover an area 2 miles from the charted position. No contacts were made. The wreck is assumed dispersed below rocky features nearby.

21 January 1986. The wreck was located at 57 17 23N, 007 06 29W. The least depth by echosounder over the site was 61 metres in a general depth of 74 metres. No scouring was observed.

16 July 1986. The wreck was examined on 1 December 1985 at 57 17 23N, 007 06 29W. The least depth by echsounder was 61 metres in a general depth of 74 metres. No scour pits were observed. The side scan sonar showed a height of 13 metres. The keel is lying on an orientation of 90/270 degrees. The vessel is upright, but with conspicuous damage at the west end.

26 August 1987. The site was examined on 30 June 1987 during sonar trials. The position given was 57 14 25N, 007 06 40W using decca main chain - (hebridean) red b 22.96, green d 43.02, purple, a 51.60. The coordinates supplied by HMS FOX are in error. The least depth by echosounder over the site was 63 metres in a general depth of 80 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar showed a height of 17.8 metres. The keel lies on an orientation of 135/315 degrees. The bow section is badly damaged. The wreck is generally breaking up.
The site was not fully surveyed.
