19 February 1941. The mast of a wreck, dangerous to navigation, is reported at 095 degrees, 4 miles from Eilean Mare light by the Southern Shore Commander in Chief of the Western Approaches. The plots in a general depth of over 54 metres. The wreck is possibly a derelict.

22 March 1941. The position was investigated on the 7 March 1941. Good non-sub contacts were obtained. The mast is not now standing above water, but has broken adrift and is now between the two westward rocks of the islands.

1 February 1983. Nothing was found at this position during side scan sonar and echosounder basic search.
