21 July 1948. The dangerus wreck of the motor fishing vessel MAJORY was reported at 58 11 34N, 006 22 54W, or bearing 288degs, 770 metres from Arnish Point Light. The site was marked by a blue can buoy close to the east.

17 July 1958. The site is no longer buoyed.
Report by HMS SHACKLETON.
2 March 1976. The site was not located whilst sounding.
Report by HMS HERALD 1 December 1975.
13 October 1976. The site was located at 58 11 38N, 006 22 53.5W. The wreck was surveyed by divers and found to be a wooden motor fishing vessel in an advanced state of collapse. The stern has decayed leaving part of the rudder still standing. The depth to the seabed was 17 metres. The highest part of wreckage stands above 3.35 metres above the seabed. The seabed is mud. The wreck is not dangerous to navigation.
