29 December 1913. The wreck of wooden SS ITALIA is reported at 58 11 30N, 006 21 57W.
Source; authority not stated. Temporary Notice to Mariners 2029/13 issued.

5 January 1914. The wreck lies 049degs, 128 metres from Arnish beacon light. The site was marked by conical buoy, 45.7 metres to the east.
Report by Northern Lighthouse Board, 30 December 1913.

28 March 1914. The wreck is stated to have disappeared. The buoy had been removed.

23 June 1917. The wreck was located 048degs, 182.8 metres from Arnish Beacon light. The least depth over the site was 7.3 metres.

28 November 1929. The least depth over the wreck is 11.3 metres. It lies on a bearing 047 degrees, 198 metres from the Reef Rock beacon.

2 March 1976. The area was fully investigated by divers and closely sounded. Only debris was found. The wreck is believed to have broken up and dispersed.
Report by HMS HERALD 1 December 1975.

Note from Wrecks Section:- amend to foul, 047degs, 198 metres from reef rock beacon. This gives a position of 58 11 39.2N, 006 21 56.5W.
