20 August 1928. The site lies on a bearing of 334.25 degrees, 1288 metres from Arnish Point lighthouse.
Report by HMS HINDUS, 13 August 1928.

2 March 1976. A position is given of 58 12 06.7N, 006 22 45W. This was fixed by horizontal sextant angles:- Coastguard flagstaff 30-42 lighthouse 55-39 Arnish height trig point. The site was sounded and investigated by divers on 17 November 1975. The least depth by echosounder was 1.1 metres. This was reduced to 2.7 metres below Ordnance Datum [Stornoway]. The wreck has slipped down from its original stranding position. It is still intact and known locally as "the Danish coaster". Report by HMS HERALD, 1 December 1975.
