26 April 1983. The Grimsby trawler EMERAD reported a sunken object in about 102.4 metres, 5 miles ENE of Tiumpan Head at approximately 58 20 00N, 005 57 00W. The object was twice fouled, bringing bubbles of oil to the surface. A gear also thickly covered by oil when retrieved.

8 August 1984. The wreck was located and examind at 58 16 30N, 005 59 51W using trisponder, echosounder and side scan sonar. The least depth by echo sounder was 108 in a general depth of 111 metres. A scour pit of 0.5 metres deep was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 3.8 metres, length of 10 metres (32 feet). The wreck is lying with its keel on an orientation of 022/202 degrees. Nothing found was found at 58 20 00N, 005 57 00W.
