Surveying Details

25 July 1978. Scattered wreckage was found, including a large boiler, 2.5 metres high and 3 metres diameter standing on end, plus parts of a steam engine and connecting rods. The site was located at 57 49 16N, 008 35 52W. The wreck is possibly the remains of a trawler or minesweeper, as large winches full of steel cable were also found.

2 September 1983. The site was dived on 12/13 July 1983. The winch and boiler are the most prominent parts of the wreck. The majority of hull has been crushed into fragments and spread around the bay.
