Surveying Details

11 November 1977. A definite wreck was located on 4 May 1977. It is thought to be from World War I. It is about 200 feet (61 metres) long, lying with its keel on an orientation of 000/180 degrees. It is sitting upright on a flat seabed. No scour pits were observed. The position is 57 39 13.6N, 008 35 02.1W. The least depth was 150 metres in a general depth of 155 metres. The side scan sonar showed a height of 5 metres. It was closely examined by echosounder.
