Surveying Details
-----------------------------
17 November 1970. On the 13th May 1970, a Lloyds list report stated approximately 7 to 8 tons of brass and copper had been recovered from the wreck during April 1970.

19 August 1975. The vessel was wrecked at Hartamul. This vessel has been considerably cut up and a salvage team was observed on it in 1973 by local fisherman.
Report by letter from D. Sloan dated 31 July 1975.

8 January 1976. An underwater search by divers on the north side Hartamul failed to locate any signs of this wreck. A less extensive search on the opposite side of the reef (the SE side) also produced a negative result. It is possible that the wreck drifted some distance before sinking. Report by ASADA exercise "wreck hunter" expedition.

6 March 1985. The wreck lies on reef just S of Hartamul in 2 to 15 metres. The engines and boilers are in about 10 metres.
Report by P. Camilli, 25 February 1985.

Hydrographic Office, 1995.
