The vessel, a coastal steamship, ran aground.

16 September 1976. A dangerous wreck of a steel vessel was reported near Peter's Port. It uncovers at 2 hours before low water. The position given is bearing 245 degrees, 2118 metres from the summit [330ft] of Ben a Tuath Wiay.

7 August 1984. The wreck lies about 200 metres E of the jetty at Peter's Port. It dries to reveal 1.5 metres at low water. The lower half of hull with iron propellor is covered thickly with kelp and is all that remains. It lies on its starboard side.

16 March 1989. The wreck is not visible on aerial photos dated 22 February 1987.

13 February 1990. The wreck lies about 92 metres NW of charted position, on the SE side of the rock. It dries to a least depth of 1.4 metres.

The wreck lies 100 yards off the end of Peter's Port jetty. It may be a steel trawler. It shows above water in a depth of 4.5 to 6 metres. The seabed has long grassy weed.

Lower portion of the wreck appears relitively complete, lying at the southern edge of a small reef. Visible at low tide and also on current AP's.
