The HM trawler BRORA grounded whilst acting as escort to SS Northern Star. She rolled over and sank at low water.

Surveying Details
-----------------------------
4 December 1956. The vessel is shown as a stranded wreck at 57 46 14N, 007 02 06W.

6 January 1976. The wreck is in two pieces, lying north to south [bows south]. Position given is 57 46 15N, 007 02 06W. The plot was taken from OS photography 69/127, prints 006 & 005 dated 18 April 1969.

1 February 1988. The wreck lies upside down and in two pieces, with superstructure collapsed inside the hull. The keel, propeller and rudder are awash at low water.
