23 August 1979. Several large girders were found on the south side of a small reef in the northern part of Loch Rodel. It is reported by local fishermen to be an ore carrier which sank last century. The reef is kelp covered. The wreck lies about 6 metres below the surface in a general depth of 14 metres.

1 August 1985. The reported position is confirmed. The site was not closely examined but a sounding pass within 20 metres shows wreckage standing 4 to 6 metres high in a general depth of 6 metres. The site was not seen on the side scan sonar.

Note: No chart action, the wreck is very close to a charted rock.

1 February 1988. Dived in reported position, but nothing found.
