The vessel was a hired trawler wrecked on Sgeir a Scape, Castlebay. Source; World War I Shipping Loses.
The vessel was hired in 1915.

Surveying Details

6 March 1985. The site was located and dived on in 1984. The vessel is quite broken up in a general depths of 5 to 10 metres.The boilers and engine lies on the reef. Many of the plates lie on the sandy bottom nearby.

10 August 1994. The site was located at 56 56 23N, 007 27 22W [World Geodetic System Datum) and investigated by diver. The vessel is approximately 130feet (39.6 metres) long and consists of a large boiler, a 3 cylinder steam engine and propellor shaft with iron propellor with 4 ft long blades. The bow section is completely broken up with just plates remaining. The wreck lies next to the drop off from the skerry to deeper water, and does not constitute a navigation hazard.
