14 December 1988. A large wreck was located at 56 39 48N, 007 33 34W. The least depth by echosounder was 223 metres in a general depth of 230 metres.
Report by HMS ROEBUCK November 1988.

4 April 1989. The wreck was examined on the 8 December 1988 at 56 39 48N, 007 33 35W. NGR conversion gives eastings 59464, northings 766205. Decca [Hebridean] red b 9.93, green d 64.05, purple a 30.29. The least depth by echosounder was 223.7 metres in a general depth of 230 metres. No scour pits were observed. The estimated height from hydrosearch was 4.9 metres. The length was 46 metres (150 feet), and width 9.5 metres (31 feet). The vessel is intact, lying with its keel on an orientation of 085/265 degrees, with no projections noted. The site was not found by HMS HERLAD in 1976.
