The merchant steamship R J CULLEN was built in 1919 and was wrecked 2 miles NE of Castlebay, Outer Hebrides, whilst en-route from Liverpool to Sydney, New South Wales. It was owned at the time of loss by Atlantic Transportation Co.

4 February 1982. The site was located at 56 57 24N, 007 25 10W, to the NE of Sgeir a Charach. The site is well broken up but several large pieces are intact.

6 March 1985. The wreck is well smashed up, in general depths of 2-10 metres.
