NF96NW 3 9417 6658.

Uamh a' Bhalbhain, a cave with evidence of former habitation, lies 400 yards S from Ardmaddy Bay, at the base of a crag on the eastern slope of North Lee. It is 8 yards in width by 3-4ft in height and extends 6-9ft inwards. The floor towards its S end contained kitchen midden shells, ashes and pottery fragments.
E Beveridge 1911.

A cave or rock-shelter corresponding to Beveridge's description and measurements, was located at NF 94176658. There is now little trace occupational remains. The name was not confirmed.
