Full Description

NF97SE 8 9606 7096.

At Gleann Seilisdeir in the S face of a rugged cliff is a large cave which penetrates the rock for 23ft. It is 15ft across its mouth diminishing inwards to a width of 11ft. Upon the floor, among accumulated soil, were found kitchen-midden remains; pottery, ashes, bones, shells, etc.
E Beveridge 1911.

NF 9606 7096. This cave is as described by Beveridge, and is 1.8m high at the entrance, decreasing to 0.8m at the rear. Slight midden remains can still be seen.
