NF98NE 1 9956 8907.
(Area NF 997 897) Charnan Macaskill, a small cairn (15ft in diameter) is situated c.20 yards to the E of the road from Rodil to Borve, some 400 yards S of the fork where the Northtown road branches off. It is on a rocky knoll c.150ft 0.D.
RCAHMS 1928.
Carn an Macaskill (locally known name) is an amorphous heap of stones at NF 9956 8907, on living rock. There is nothing about it to suggest an antiquity.
