Full Description

NF98NE 9 c974 868.
At the base of eroded sand dunes in the area
NF 974 868 are large deposits of midden material compris-
ing shells, animal bones and course fragments of
pottery, apparently I.A.
Ther are amorphous traces of walling amongst the
midden material suggesting a habitation site.

As described above, drystone wall actively eroding, situated towards the base of the section. This is located approx 3m below the the existing graveyard boundary wall on the present surface and concurs with the suggestion of a settlement mound.
