Full Description

NF98SW 14 92 82.

A circular dun is said to have once stood close by the side of the sculptured stone obelisk at St Asaph's, Cill Aiseam (NF98SW 4). One could have inferred that this was the remains of the old chapel, but for the fact that a crofter told Carmichael that 'it contained wall passages and galleries common to these duns'. All the stones have been removed for building materials.
A A Carmichael 1871.
