Full Description

NF98SW 19 centred 91 82.

Among the items from Berneray exhibited in Glasgow in 1888, on loan from Mrs McNeil, were a number of bronze brooches, pins and unspecified bronze objects, also collections of bone needles, pins and comb fragments. These articles subsequently came into the possession of the late Mr H H Mackenzie, factor of the North Uist estates, whose collection was donated to RMS (NMAS) in 1972. However, the majority of the individual items cannot now be identified.
