Full Description

NF99SE 7 9818 9182.

A fragment of a bone comb was found in a small shell midden on the N bank of a small stream at NF 9818 9182 during field investigation.
Mr Morrison has a 'Viking brooch' which was found in the area centred NF 979 914 whilst digging rabbits many years ago.
Site surveyed at 1:2500.
Visited by OS (A A) 3 July 1969.
