Full Description

NG08SW 3 Centred 049 828.

On the E side of Rodil village, within 8 yards of the shore and about 3 fathoms under water, there is a 'circle of stones. .....about two stories high; it is in form broader above than below, like to the lower story of a kiln' (M Martin 1934). It is described as 'a beehive shaped structure,' by Wedderspoon.
M Martin 1934; J Wedderspoon 1915.

According to local fishermen, this 'circle', at NG 049 828, is a natural rock formation similar to others in the area.
