NG09NE 1 centred 06 99.

Thomas suggests, from the derivation of the place-name Luskentyre (Lios-cinn-tir = Headland fort ) that there was a defensive structure there; and that the excellence of the farm would support this view.

No trace and no local knowledge of a fort.
