(NG 0070 9282 ) The old parochial burial-ground at Scarista (Scarasta) is considered by T S Muir (1885) and the OPS (1854) to be the site of St Brides or St Bridget's Church (Kilbride).
The graveyard is adjacent to the modern (19th century) church, and contains a few old gravestones, but no trace of the church.

No further information.
Visited by OS (N K B) 1 July 1969.
