NG09SW 3 0070 9282.

(NG 0070 9282 ) The old parochial burial-ground at Scarista (Scarasta) is considered by T S Muir (1885) and the OPS (1854) to be the site of St Brides or St Bridget's Church (Kilbride).
The graveyard is adjacent to the modern (19th century) church, and contains a few old gravestones, but no trace of the church.

Carved mediaeval grave slab discovered 1998 by J. Crawford, and re-covered for protection.
In a dry season, faint traces of the wall lines of the early church are visible in the old part of the graveyard.
