Steamship SONDERBORG, 4850 ton, of Norway. Master, D.D.Thogensen. Bound from Ardrossan to Norway. Lost Wednesday 1 Jan 1930, 4.35am. Stockeinish Culure Point (Rubha Chluar, Stockinish, Harris), 7 miles from Glas Island (Eilean Glas) Lighthouse. Wind southerly strong breeze with rain. Cause of wreck unknown. 27 crew all saved.
