Steamship TOLSA, 1974 ton, of Oslo. Master, Nils Sand. Bound from Ayr to Tromso. Lost 7 July 1935, 4am. "Struck submerged rock in vicinity of Greitach Rock (Sgeir Griadach), 2 miles from Eilean Glas Lighthouse". Fog signal sounding, not heard by crew. Wind south west light breeze, sea calm, fog patches. Cause of wreck, "struck submerged rock, making water badly. Had to be run ashore". All 21 on board saved. Cargo coal.
