NB53SE 8000 5570 3250
Steam Trawler FERROL, 271 ton, of Fleetwood, FD124, master James Stafford. Trawling. Lost 18 Dec 1931, 6am. Dun Dubh, south side of Shisader Point (Rubha Dubh, Sheisiadar), 3 miles from Tiumpan Head Lighthouse. Light could not be seen from where the vessel stranded. Crew 11, all saved. Cargo 200 boxes fish. "4 of crew jumped from bow onto rocks. 1 climber the cliffs, which are 200 feet high, and went for help".
