Steamship GOLFER, 377 ton, of Methil, master Alex Cargill. Bound from Methil to Stornoway. Lost 10 Sep 1932, 3.35am. Shesader Bay (Bagh Sheisiader), 2 1/4 miles from Tiumpan Head Lighthouse, Lewis. "Due to darkness vessel was off her proper course". Crew 10, all saved. Cargo coals. "The wreck lies well into the bay".
