Motor Fishing Drifter GLIDE, of Stornoway, master Roderick Macdonald. Fishing off Tiumpan Head. Lost 6 July 1934, 7am. Sank about 1 mile east north east from Tiumpan Head Lighthouse. Weather calm. Cause of wreck, fire. Crew 9, all saved. "Took fire about 1 am. Crew left in own boat. Burned to the water edge and then sank".
