Site 2361, a horizontal mill, lay at NA 99190 25680, close to the main road and on the north bank of the Abhainn Bhreanais. This was visible as a subrectangular drystone structure measruing 5.5m southeast to northwest, 4.65m northeast to southwest, standing up to 1.3m high on the bank of the stream, below the level of the road bridge 1m to the west. The underhouse in which the horizontal wheel had formerly been positioned, described in the NMRS as 'oval' was actually D-shaped in plan, its straight southeast well measuring 2.5m in length across the D, which swelled to 2.3m across at its widest point. Connecting wataer channels led to the northeast (1.9m long, 0.5m wide and 0.4m deep) and wouthwest (1m long, 1.7m wide and 1.3m deep), both with lintels in place. The mill was constructed of massive, hewn gneiss blocks.
