A township comprising twelve roofed, one partially roofed, four unroofed buildings, four enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Harris 1882, sheet xiv). The head-dyke is joined to that of the township of Oban (NG19NE 6) to the W and of the township of Urgha (NG19NE 7) to the E.
Fourteen roofed, two partially roofed, five unroofed buildings, eight enclosures and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
