NG19SE 3 centred on 152 914

A township comprising thirteen roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a School, two unroofed buildings, two enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Harris 1881, sheet xix). Part of the head-dyke to the E is shared with the township of Cluer and part of that to the S is shared with the township of Loch na Buaile Glaise.
Ten roofed, thirteen unroofed buildings, five enclosures and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
