NG19NE 7 centred on 180 996

A township comprising twelve roofed, one partially roofed, six unroofed buildings, four enclosures, some field walls and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Harris 1882, sheet xiv). The head-dyke is joined to that of the township of Urgha Beag (NB10SE 7) to the W.
Fourteen roofed, seven unroofed buildings, six enclosures and part of the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

Small precrofting settlement contained within a curving head dyke is apparent on Balds Map of Harris (1805).
