What may be a farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is L-shaped and the other is attached to the head-dyke of the township Baile-lingay (NF88NE 5), is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, Harris etc 1881, sheet xxi) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map(1971).
