What may be an unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, North Uist etc. 1882, sheet xl) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).

A sub-rectangular stone building with other less well defined structures round it, located on a probable mound, over looking the bay. Visable on current AP's.
