An enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, North Uist etc. 1882, sheet xxxv). What may be two unroofed shieling-huts, one of which is L-shaped are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).

Site comprises of a slightly raised grassy area adjacent to outcropping rock. Ruins comprise of a black house style structure with attached byre, with the main part of the building appearing as rubble at its southeastern end; approx dimensions 10m x 10m. A secondary drystone building linked by a wall, is located appox 5m to the SW. Traces of other stone alignments may indicate remains of an enclosure beyond the buildings.
