NF85NW 26 centred on 8485 5878

A small township comprising one unroofed, four roofed buildings and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, North & South Uist etc. 1880, sheet xlv). Two unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).

The ruins of two buildings and various lumps and bumps are all that survive of this township, which has been damaged by quarrying since WWII. A series of coastal defences, nausts and other marine features extend c. 100m to the north and 50m to the south-west of the remains of the township.
