Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 5 December 1997

a deserted post-medieval farmstead at Loch Dun Mhurchaidh, featured three roofless buildings, all rectangular, and spaced diagonally northwest to southeast, all being aligned north to south. The smallest, measuring 6m x 4m, stood at the northern end of the row. Its drystone walls survived to 1.5m in height with an entrance on the east side. The middle building of the group, a former blackhosue, measured 10m x 5m, with drystone walls surviving up to 1.5m. A doorway and window were apparent on the east side, with a fireplace in the south wall and a recess opposite in the north wall. The southernmost building was subdivided into two equal rooms, and measured 10m x 5m, with the walls surviving to 0.8m in height. Two doorways were apparent on the east side.
