A crofting township comprising thirty-two roofed, one partially roofed and twenty unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, South Uist 1881, sheet xlvi). Two field-systems (centred on NF 811 470 and centred on NF 814 475) are also shown.
Thirty-four roofed, nineteen unroofed buildings and the remains of the field-systems are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
